MEET KRISTEN KIDD For over a decade Kristen nurtured, in tandem, a dedication to professional photography and a career as a social worker. Here she honed the skills of deeply understanding and connecting with clients and capturing the true essence of their identity and relationships. At the beginning of 2017, after a long and fulfilling experience as a social worker, she stepped away in order to fully dedicate herself to her photography clients. Now, as a Philadelphia photographer, she brings everything she loved most about her career in social work to her photography; namely celebrating deep connections, our “why” and the fun of life.
Kristen Kidd Photography helps busy families stop and reconnect with the love in their lives through active and fun photo sessions. Personalized Wall Art designed to anchor you to your why.
Kristen Asked Women a Simple Question: "When has your dog been there for you in ways other humans could not be there for you?" The response was overwhelming and thus began the Woman's Best Friend Project. Woman's Best Friend (WBF) is about raising money for local rescues through powerful stories about women's bonds with their canine companions. In addition to helping homeless dogs find their forever homes, WBF is about erasing stigmas associated with grief, depression, anxiety, breed discrimination and loving our four-legged friends as much as we might love some humans. Stigma is erased when stigmatized experiences are normalized. Turn every page and see that no one is alone. Often it's our furriest companions that are there for us the most .
