Every Week is Animal Rights Awareness Week!

Hello  Yogi-dog family,
With June 12th marking the beginning of Animal Rights Awareness Week, we’re encouraging our pawsome Yogi-dog family to get educated on the importance of animal rights. According to PetPedia.co, more than 100 million animals suffer abuse nationally every year. The Animal Rights Awareness Week campaign focuses on advocating for the maltreatment of all animals and awareness of animal use for research and testing.
In 1991, In Defense of Animals founded the week to educate animal lovers on the proper care and protection of our furry companions and their habitats.
Here at Yogi-dog, we have a deep appreciation for animals daily, but this week we have an extra excuse to spend more time advocating for our pawsome friends! We are excited to celebrate this PAW-some week, and below are some ways you can support this movement!  
1). Determine if the animal products you currently use are natural and safe for your companion- just like our Yogi-dog flavors!
2). Support spaying, neutering, conservation, and preservation efforts in your area and around the globe.
3). Volunteer at a local shelter and always consider adoption. Did you know many local pet retailers partner with local resources to host on-site adoptions?
